Rowlock

No clues. Just the crossings.

Each row is a word with its letters shuffled. Drag each letter to the square where it belongs. Every column has to end up a word too, and that's how you tell which word a row should be.

Hard modeSpell each row by tapping its letters in order: no dragging, no free checks. A real word that breaks a column costs 10 seconds; one the columns can't rule out yet, 3.

The puzzle is timed. A ? is a missing letter you fill in. Circled squares work like any other while you solve; once the grid is done, their letters spell a bonus word. Only your first try at a puzzle can go on the leaderboard.

That's the whole game.

The real puzzle works the same way, with a few differences:

• Five rows, and a clock that starts when you press Start.
• Two rows are missing a letter, like the last practice row: drag the ? to its square, then tap it and name the letter.
• You choose the order. If the columns can't decide a row yet, solve the rows that cross it first.
• A wrong drag or a wrong letter is a slip and adds 3 seconds. Tapping to check a letter is free.
• Stuck? Hint points you to the next row to try, for 10 seconds.
• Your first try at each puzzle can go on the leaderboard.
